[ Showcase 1 ]
When this customer built their new home,
they wanted it done right! So they called Century Stereo in to work with
their architect, builder, and designer right from the initial planning.
We provided the pre-wire plan to builders and sub-contractors, and specifications
to the finish craftsman.
We also recommended and installed:
the high-definition satellite dish and receiver
structured wiring for video, voice, and data network
a controllable lighting system
audio and video equipment in several rooms
touch-panel controls throughout the house for access to
security cameras, digital sound system, and multi-disc CD management controller.
And did customized programming for the control system that integrates
all the systems.
 |
We worked with the
finish craftsman to mount the automated projector lift and screen
equipment so they could be integrated in music room's paneled ceiling.
All the theater components are hidden from view when not in use. But,
when the music room turns into a home theater, the controller drops
the film screen and projector down from the ceiling, the drapes close,
the lights dim, and the movie soundtrack plays from speakers hidden
in the window seat below the screen. |
 |
A flat plasma screen
monitor in the family room is recessed into fireplace paneling, giving
the appearance of a picture hanging on the wall. |
 |
Movies and music wherever
they go! This family wanted to watch, even while working out... |
 |
... or having a relaxing
morning in bed. |
 |
In-wall and video/touch-panels
provide access to whole-house audio, video, and security camera systems--even
in bed! |
